Front Game Rules
Two teams of three members (two of which are celebrities) compete. A crossword of six words, each clues to a person, place or thing, is shown. A contestant picks a word for one of his partners to answer, and the celebrity has 10 seconds to identify the word for 5 points a letter. Otherwise, the contestant gets to guess, at which point control passes to the other team. After a correct guess, the contestant has the opportunity to guess the subject of the puzzle for 50 points.
A total of three rounds were played. In the second round, words were 10 points a letter and 100 points for guessing the subject, and the third round was 20 points a letter and 200 points for the subject. After three rounds, the team in the lead won the game and advanced to the bonus round.
End Game Rules - "Crossfire"
In the bonus round, the contestant and one celebrity had 60 seconds to solve a crossword puzzle with 10 clues. Each correct answer won increasingly valuable prizes, scoring all 10 won the grand prize.

Loogaroo Looks it Over
Some vehicles just don't translate well into game shows, and crossword puzzles are among them. The clues were not all that witty and the gameplay seemed a bit convoluted. Host David Sparks didn't aid the cause, either - he seemed kinda ill at ease hosting the show, which was especially noticeable when the guests for one week were game show hosts. Also, they showed off 3 cars at the opening of the show, but never mentioned how they could be won (the grand prize in the Crossfire round was a trip), which hurts the Execution grade.
